Recovery

Cartrack uses Doppler technology to locate and recover stolen vehicles. A small transponder is fitted in the client's vehicle, which remains dormant (in stand by mode). Once a vehicle is stolen a signal is sent to the vehicle and the transponder is turned on or activated. This in turn then sends a unique signal out to us enabling us to trace and locate the stolen vehicle.

All the equipment fitted to the vehicle is manufactured in the USA by Motorola and guaranteed for life provided the service conditions have been met.

We are able to track vehicles in the whole of East Africa (Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania) including Rwanda and Burundi. We can also track up to a radius of 360 Km by air.
